Changing world
How we work today is nothing how we used to. Up until a couple of years ago, the focus was on the work itself, now it is all about the worker's individuality. However, the demand for talent is greater than the supply. Companies that want to invest in people ensure that both the company itself and its workers are more creative, enthusiastic, productive and successful than ever.
Puzzle of the future
HP will gladly make this puzzle of the future with you. Put your pawn on the first square of the board and make an in-depth analysis of the workforce. Who are the workers? How do they behave? What are their jobs and tasks like? Which applications do they use? What do they need to feel even better in their work environment? This is how you create a number of profiles or individualities and break down the population of workers into a number of groups with similar needs.
Accept the challenge
Per group you see how the office is able to support these people. Which technology, desks and workspace do workers need? Divide the working space into Activity Based Workplaces; spaces that support core tasks. Move ahead another square and map how you want to work with devices: do you purchase them or do you work with an as-a-service model. And don't forget to adjust the internal policies: how do you deal with working hours, homeworking, encryption, etc.
Crack the code and win
If you persist, you will crack the code and be able to make the puzzle of HP’s Office of the Future. Share the puzzle with the whole organisation, provide training and create space for questions and answers. Also provide a transition period to allow workers to get used to the new trend and build on the beautiful story of the New Way of Working in The Office of the Future together.
